Steve Yates, Managing Director of In-Excess Removals Ltd, started the business in 1996.
Under his leadership, In-Excess has grown from a single vehicle operation to a fleet of 21 vans and HGVs, offering local, national, and European removal and storage services.
Steve emphasises the importance of building strong foundations for a successful business, reflecting his hands-on approach and commitment to quality. He values the contributions of his long-standing team members and takes pride in working alongside his daughter, Richenda, who joined the company as a virtual surveyor in 2019.
Steve’s vision for the future includes embracing industry advancements while maintaining the personal touch that has characterized In-Excess Removals from the start. His dedication to customer satisfaction and community support remains central to the company’s ongoing success.
Louise Muldowney
Office Manager
Louise joined In Excess Removals in the early days of the business, assisting in the office as the company was growing .
From the outset, she played an important role in supporting clients and helping ensure the smooth running of the office as the business developed.
Over the years, Louise has shown remarkable loyalty and dedication to the company, becoming a trusted and valued member of the team. She has been instrumental in supporting Steve as the business expanded, always taking great pride in the work she does and the service provided to clients.
Louise is particularly known for the personal touch she brings to her role. She builds genuine relationships with clients. Fleet General Manager
Lee, who joined In-Excess Removals Ltd as an agency porter in 1999, has risen through the ranks to become the Fleet General Manager.
Over his years with the company, Lee has witnessed remarkable growth, transitioning from a fleet of just four vehicles to overseeing 21 today.
